Hall of Fame: Congratulations to YCCA's John Rawnsley who has been named in British Cycling's newly launched Hall of Fame - John is one of just 50 people recognised from the last 50 years, a remarkable honour for a remarkable man. Well done John! See below for more on the presentation when John will receive his award.
Change of date - Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross Association Prize Presentation & Dinner Dance - and also a change of date to Sun 7th March for the Madison event.
New date Sat 6th March 2010. 7.00pm - 12.30am (Dinner 7.30pm)
Venue: The Best Western Guide Post Hotel, Common Road, Low Moor, Bradford
BD12 0ST. Tickets are still available but we need numbers at least seven days in advance, so please let us know by the 26th February. You can either order tickets from Mandy Parker and send a cheque to her at 22 Airedale Gardens, Leeds LS13 1DN with a SAE, or ring 07917 860292 or 0113 2555775 to reserve your place and pay on the night.
Alternately e-mail names and numbers to mandyparker2@ntlworld.com. She will need to know the number required of adult tickets and child tickets (14 years old and under). Tickets: Adults £22, 14 and under £ 11

British Cycling's ‘50th Anniversary Gala Dinner & Annual Awards'
On Saturday 20th February 2010 the Manchester Central (formerly the Manchester International Convention Centre/GMEX) will host British Cycling's ‘50th Anniversary Gala Dinner & Annual Awards' - The first 50 members of the newly launched British Cycling ‘Hall of Fame' will be inducted on the night and it is expected that many of them will attend this special event (along with 2009's champions and volunteers). The YCCA is looking to book a table to go along and support Hall of Fame inductee, John Rawnsley - if you fancy joining us on this very special evening, please call Fred Rothwell on 01422 832195
